Dr. Ock completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto where he received his Honours Bachelor of Science. He then graduated and completed his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

In addition to primary eye care, Dr. Ock has interest and experience in specialty contact lens fittings for myopia control, keratoconus and dry eyes. He believes that proper eye care starts and ends with proper patient education.
He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and can provide eye examinations in these languages.
Passionate About Patient Education
Dr. Melissa Poon completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated on the Dean’s List. She completed internships in Philadelphia, Miami, and Chicago and has practised optometry in New York City. Prior to that, she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto. She planned and participated in a charity mission to provide optometric care in Haiti.
Dr. Poon's highest priority is to provide patient-centered care to optimize vision and eye health. She is committed to providing holistic care, with experience in contact lenses, cataracts, diabetes, dry eyes, and glaucoma. She also values patient education and transparency and welcomes individuals of all cultural backgrounds.
She was born and raised in Toronto. She enjoys travelling, hiking, badminton, attending concerts, and discovering new restaurants. She is able to provide eye examinations in English and Cantonese.
